| | | Dear LivingSocial Member, We're writing today to let you know about a significant update to our refund policy, as well as some other minor changes to our Terms of Service.
We want you to have the best experience possible when buying and redeeming Vouchers. We also listened to your feedback. So starting today, we're totally changing the way refunds work for local deals. Introducing the Good Deal Guarantee.
regular local vouchersFor local and shop Voucher Deals purchased on or after November 21, 2013—which represent the overwhelming majority of the Deals on our site—that means three things:
 | You can get a full refund on any unredeemed, unscheduled Voucher within seven days of purchase. No questions asked. | | | | After the first seven days, you can exchange an unredeemed, unscheduled Voucher for the paid value in Deal Bucks until it expires. | | | | If you ever have trouble redeeming your Voucher for any reason, let us know with a help request or by calling 877-521-4191. We'll work with you and the merchant to try to make things good. | | |
That's it. We think it's a big improvement and a real statement about the kind of merchants that we choose to work with. Our faith in their quality is a huge reason why we can make our new policy this simple.
